Download is a rock cover band...all easily approachable even if you do not know them…they listen to you and don't give you the "rock star" attitude. Once you get to know them, they even approach you.

Download shows an undeniable love for music. They learn all the hit rock songs quickly, which gives them the edge. The band has such a wide range of songs that anyone between ages 18 and 55 can get excited.

Download plays for the fans, adhering to the fans’ wants and needs on the songs the fans want to hear!

The band supports other local music talent on its MySpace homepage: http://www.myspace.com/tonyjaytimted.

Recently, Download played a last minute benefit show alongside Jennifer Heick for Starr Franck, a young girl who needed money raised to help her battle a severe heart condition. The show raised a lot of money to help the child and her family through their financial hardship.

Download is:

Tony Catalfamo has one of the most powerful voices in the Rochester music scene and never misses a beat. He articulates every word in every song so clearly, always on pitch, you would think this guy fell from the heavens. As a songwriter, Catalfamo gives the band another dimension with original songs Musical Poetry and Falling Down. Catalfamo’s energy makes every fan want to come back to show after show. He leaps off stage and goes directly into the crowds to get everyone involved in the show. Catalfamo also plays rhythm guitar for the band.

Jay Tarmino’s bass, back up vocals, and positive attitude makes every show different. He constantly gets the fans involved by allowing them to come up on stage and sing. You know you have a great song coming when Tarmino’s bass line starts to pump up.

Teddy Karabinas is a drummer where you could just be singing along with the band and out of nowhere you say to yourself, "holy crap, do you hear those drums?" This guy is a monster on the skins. The multitalented Karabinas has also been seen breaking out into a guitar solo every so often.

Tim Johnson is a lead guitarist who embodies the feel of a 'guitar rock god.' He makes the fans simply go nuts when he breaks out in his solos. His performance and stage presence makes him one of the top lead guitarists in Rochester. As the most laid back member of the band, Johnson gives you an Eddie Van Halen/Neal Schon vibe night after night. Johnson conveys his love for rock and blues through his playing and always puts on one hell of a show.
