Tyler
Norton: guitar, vocals

Musical Influences:
My non musical influences would be my cousins Darren amd Moray. Darren gave me his KISS albums when I was 6 years old. Seeing a bloody Gene Simmons on the cover of Alive II was all I needed to see...Moray was always dating "rock guys"(long hair, chains, tattoos and leather jackets) and it scared me, but at the same time it was that cool scared where I wanted to find out more. She gave me Screaming For Vengeance for Xmas in '82 and it melted my face off!!
My musical influences guitar wise would be EVH, George Lynch, Hendrix, SRV and certainly Ace Frehley. Vocally, I like anyone from Sebastian Bach to Aretha Franklin.
Goals:
Just to hone my craft to the best of my ability. No matter how good you may think you are, there's always someone else out there that can do it better. Success is not a destination, it is a constant thing you have to work at. Oh yeah and rock hard abs like Tony...
Favorites:
Family: That would have to be mine- Chels, Leah and Dylan- I'm sure you have a nice family too though...
Food:
Pizza and Buffalo Chicken anything. Throw some wing sauce on it and I'll eat it...almost...
Movie:
Almost Famous-The Outsiders
Music:
Butch Walker has to be my favorite all around musician. Do yourself a favor and Google him!
Alcoholic Drink:
Yes please
TV:
Pretty much anything VH1 Classic. I always watch Metal Mania , I know, I'm an 80's metal geek...
Occupation:
Media production/sales
Equipment:
Marshall amps(Thanks Tim, yer welcome guys!) Fender Guitars, but soon making the switch to Gibson, Morley and Digitech pedals
Interesting thing about myself:
I've always wanted to entertain people since a young age. When I was 13, I was in a movie called Imagination Airlines that was played on HBO and The USA Network. It won an award at The Rochester Film Festival. I played a bully...Musically I have been lucky and humble to share the stage with the likes of Sammy Hagar, Lou Gramm, Chip Znuff among others.
I would like to say a special thank you to all the Download fans who have welcomed me with open arms and open...well thanks! |
